I hadn't expected to stay for 3 nights but the weather prohibited me from travelling home and prohibited me from leaving the hotel.I had the most restful 3 day stay .The staff especially Helen at reception could not have been more helpful, so friendly remembering my name in the morning to greet me. The breakfast was second to none with such an array of choice. The full Irish fry was cooked freshly for me on two mornings and the staff in the breakfast room were so smiley and friendly in the morning. Cleanliness, friendliness, comfort ,amenities all superb including the pool and the gym. There are a few different areas with couches and tables to work from within the hotel if you don't want to stay in your room all day.The bar has a wonderful choice for dinner .There is also a dining room .A great advantage with staying in The Sligo Park is that there is a big car park where I left my car free of charge for the 3 days.It was safe . My room was 247.It had the most beautiful bay window with window seat facing a garden and snow covered Ben Bulben mountain in the distance .It had a king koil mattress which was superb for my back.I had 3 wonderful nights sleep. The location of the room meant no traffic sounds just pure peace .I also enjoyed the chocolate box on my bed .Thank you to the cleaning staff Well done Sligo Park. I was almost disappointed when the snow melted that I had to return home . An excellent hotel.

The hotel was very comfortable and there was a warm and relaxing atmosphere despite plenty going on. Being the Christmas/New Year period it was busy with lots of comings and goings. The best thing however was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to make us more welcome. They really seemed to work as a team, we watched the decorations being taken down - a big job - and all staff seemed to 'muck in' and support eachother with good humour. The breakfast was excellent. We had family, including a young child and a baby join us for dinner one evening and we all enjoyed the experience. We also ate in the bar which was welcoming, busy and had live music on the nights we were there.

Jan

The staff were accommodating and friendly, but I'd like to make particular mention of Leah who attended the restaurant and bar. She was exceptional in both her service and approach in catering to the client side whilst upselling and suggestive selling items and services for the hotel. I was offered things in a way that dialed into my needs without being pushy and done with an immediate consideration for me that was instinctive and exactly what I needed per the given moment. From someone that has travelled 17 countries I have observed that type of service takes skill and is very rare. Sligo Park would be wise to develop Leah in a more leading role to ensure all staff are performing at this very high level.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. From the moment we checked in we felt the homely atmosphere, and this is down to the friendliness and overall demeanor of the staff throughout the hotel. We used the leisure facilities twice during our stay and the guys there were so helpful and friendly. The staff in Jack B's and the breakfast staff, especially Louise, were great, it is very obvious that the Sligo Park Hotel is a nice and happy place to work, which is a huge compliment to the management, keep us the good work.

Martin

Hotel was exceptional as were the staff. However the booking process caused some problems. I was sure I had included breakfast with my booking. That was not the case. I would ask booking.com to make it clearer to permit the booking of breakfast not merely that this is available at the location, but to actually allow me to include it with my original booking more
